I am Eunkwang Seo, an Assistant Professor of Management at the Spears School of Business, Oklahoma State University (eseo@okstate.edu). I received my Ph.D. in Business Administration (Strategy & Entrepreneurship) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I study how firms create and appropriate value in knowledge-intensive industries through the acquisition, retention, and recombination of knowledge assets embedded in innovative employees.

My research has been published in leading management journals, including Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, and Journal of International Business Studies, and has received recognition through multiple grants and awards, including the SRF Dissertation Grant, SMS Best Interdisciplinary Paper Award (SHC IG), SMS Annual Conference Responsible Research Paper Prize Finalist, AOM Best Paper Proceedings, SERI Best Doctoral Student Paper Award, AmorePacific Best Student Paper Award, and PDMA Dissertation Proposal Competition Award.
